Homemaker / Companion

Homemakers and Companions help an at-home patient with their activities of daily living and with various tasks and chores around the house and community.

A homemaker or companion can assist with meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, money management, pet walking, errands, shopping, and transportation to doctor appointments, among other tasks as needed.

Personal Care Assistant

A Personal Care Assistant is able to perform the same activities as a homemaker and companion, but they can also assist with bathing and other personal care needs.  A Personal Care Assistant will spend larger blocks of time with the patient than a homemaker or companion, allowing more one-on-one assistance.

All of Primary Prevention Homecare’ s staff have background checks, are fingerprinted, insured, and bonded.

We strive to place our patients with members of our team who are compatible with the patient to preserve the patient’s dignity, keep them out of the hospital and maintain health at home.
